As she started as a student of the First Tee of Howard County, she learned the nine core values - honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy, and judgment which she continues to live by and share with her students.  Ms. Lewis has demonstrated excellence in the classroom and on the golf course. In high school she was the only female golfer at Oakland Mills High to ever take her school to the State Championship for all four years.  She was the captain of the Oakland Mills golf team from 2012 – 2014. First Tee became her foundation, allowing her to learn the fundamental rules and regulations of the game and open up plenty of great opportunities. Her dad, also a golfer, taught her the game until he recognized her natural talent and decided to seek out guidance of a golf professional.  She has been mentored by George Bradford, PGA golf professional, Canadian Tour Player, and fellow advisory board member of Cristata Cares throughout her high school years. Her goal in life is to help youths realize there is a tremendous opportunity to go to college on a golf scholarship like herself.
