Liberty League Names "Tynard Barfield" Offensive Player of The Week!!!

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College sophomore running back Tynard Barfield was named the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week by the conference office today. The Statesmen also moved up in the final regular season polls, landing at No. 18 in the AFCA Coaches' Poll and No. 19 in the D3football.com Top 25. Barfield became the first Statesman to rush for 100 yards in a game in two years, helping Hobart to a 56-27 win over Rochester. He gained a career-high 123 yards on 11 carries (11.2 yds/att). Barfield scored on a 5-yard run in the first quarter that put the Statesmen up 19-0 and added a career-long 47-yard TD run in the third quarter. He's the first Statesman to top the century mark since Conner Hartigan ran for 114 yards against Rochester in 2014.
